Ever wanted to stream your music directly on your computer? Well have I got a music streaming client for you. I was introduced to this client when some roommates of mine were listening to playlists created with this client. It’s called Spotify and if you’re new to this piece of software don’t worry I’ll provide several tutorials for spotify. I’ll teach how to login to spotify, create a playlist, listen to that playlist, and share that playlist using playbutton on Facebook and the web in general.

but in this tutorial we’re going to start out simple. I’m going to teach you how to login to and install spotify.

Requirements

  1. An account with Facebook
  2. and the Spotify music streaming client

Tutorial Content

Here’s what you need to do.

  1. Login to Facebook so you can login to Spotify
  2. login to Spotify and download the installer and double click said installer and follow the onscreen instructions to install it to your computer according to your needs.

Have you ever found something you like on facebook but don’t how to “like” that page of something you really like? Well in this tutorial I will show you how to “like” a page of something you really like.

Requirements

The only things you need to actually like a page on facebook

  1. An account with facebook
  2. A page of something you really like
  3. and the ability to “like” that page of something you really like

Tutorial Content

  1. First you’ll need to signup for an account on facebook or if you alread have one signin to it
  2. Once you’ve signed into your account search for a page of something you really like.
  3. Let’s say I like haunted attractions and rollercoasters I’d search for haunted attractions I really like such as Netherworld, The Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse, Nightmare on 13th and Castle of Chaos and I’d “like” them at the drop of a hat.
  4. now to “like” that page of something you really like there is a “like” button next to the page’s picture.
  5. click the like button and you’ll see the word liked inside the button along with a checkmark

And there you have it you have officially “liked” the page of something you really like.

Ever wanted to share your musical tastes with the world on facebook and on the web in general but didn’t know which sites would allow the sharing of music? Well I’m happy to say that there are two websites that I know of that allow this sort of thing: playlist and Grooveshark. However in this tutorial I’ll show you how to use playlist and share the music you obtain with your facebook friends and the web.

Requirements

The only three things you need are

  1. an account with facebook
  2. a host with worpress support
  3. an account with blogger
  4. an account with playlist
  5. the ability to quick share your playlist on facebook.

Instructions

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

  1. Sign up for an account on playlist or if you already have account sign into it.
  2. Create a playlist once you have an account.
  3. To fill up that playlist, type the name of the artist you want to add, look under the songs tab, scroll to the song/songs you want play through the songs until you find the ones you want, once you find the songs you want click the add to playlist button to add that song to your playlist.
  4. Once you have enough songs from a variety of artists click this button to do what is called a quick post to facebook.
  5. For a self hosted wordpress site however, copy the code and then you can either do a sidebar widget or you can post it like this:

Ever get the idea that you’ve been pranked alot but you can’t seem to get back at the person by pranking them yourself? Well there’s hope for you yet. in this tutorial I’ll show you my secret weapon for scaring your friends and family on Scare Tactics just by making a simple post on the Scare Tactics Facebook page.On this show the scaring is done by pros do not I repeat do not copy them.

Requirements

The only things you’ll need are:

  1. A Facebook account
  2. and a like to the Scare Tactics Facebook page

Instructions

  1. If you don’t have a Facebook Profile sign up for one but if you have a Facebook profile login to it.
  2. Like the Scare Tactics Facebook page. You have to do this in order to set someone up on the show that’s in your Facebook Friends list.
  3. Wait for the magic question “If you signed your friends up to be on Scare Tactics, what kind of prank would you play on them?”.
  4. Choose a friend you wanna to see get the ever living daylights scared out of them. Say for the purposes of this tutorial I picked either Kelsey Black, Shannon McGrath, Katelyn Burgess or Derek Jamal Berta they’d be scared of learning that I set them up on Scare Tactics.
  5. Post the name of your friend on the Scare Tactics Facebook page.

And there you have it you have set someone up on Scare Tactics via Facebook. Remember to do this only if you need a little help of the scary kind to lay prankish vengeance on those who have pranked you a lot in the past.

Software Requirements

  • Imovie(ipod touch 4g), Final Cut Pro(Mac), Adobe Premier Pro(Mac or PC)
  • a youtube or facebook account

music choice

Take your iPod touch choose a piece of music you want and pause it then turn on the camera app and then turn on the front-facing camera.

Switch the camera app to camcorder so you can record yourself.

Record yourself lip-syncing

Hit record start walking play the music and then start lip-syncing.

Stop recording to save to the camera roll

When you’re done stop recording and it will be saved to the Photo’s app’s camera roll.

choose how to edit your lip dub and then upload it to facebook/youtube

Do one of the following:
Open the recording in Imovie on the ipod touch bring it into the timeline add the music you lip synced to then upload it to facebook or youtube
Plug your ipod touch into your mac or pc and open up Final Cut Pro, Windows Movie Maker or Adobe Premier Pro import the recording into the event browser edit it into the timeline bring in the music you were lip syncing to and upload it to youtube or facebook.

there you have it your own personal lipdub. you can do this anytime while you’re walking to class to where ever you go in your free time.
